Hysab Kytab Wins APICTA Award:

The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) is a collaborative network of ICT communities nominated by member economies in the region, aimed at promoting technology innovation and developing indigenous ICT solutions for the global market through an annual awards program. This program is unique as it brings together participants from large and small businesses, entrepreneurs, the public sector, startups, not-for-profit organizations, and students in a single program.

The 21st Asia Pacific ICT Awards were held in Islamabad, Pakistan, bringing together over 150 foreign delegates from countries including Hong Kong, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. With over 200 entries from different economies across 25 categories, the awards recognized a winner and two runners-up for each category.

Hysab Kytab, a subsidiary of Jaffer Business Systems (JBS), won the gold award for Pakistan with its consumer app boasting over 640,000 users from more than 160 countries and over 12 million transactions. The awards, typically held in November or December each year, offer networking and mentoring opportunities with industry leaders and influencers, as well as business matching opportunities with access to venture capitalists and investors.
