Executive summary
Jaffer Business Systems, (JBS) being one of the largest IT Services and Solution providers has always taken pride in resolving the most challenging and painstaking issues for our customers. In one such exciting collaboration with Habib Metro Bank, JBS provided a single comprehensive solution by introducing and shifting the organization’s email system to Microsoft 365. This was done to cater to the problem of data leak and to enhance the digital workspace, especially in the changing times due to Covid.
Cybersecurity & internal communication
Habib Metropolitan Bank (HABIB METRO) is one of the largest banking networks of Pakistan, with 450 plus branches all over Pakistan. To sustain the ever-changing regulatory requirements of the financial services sector in addition to streamlining their internal communication and strengthening their cybersecurity, HABIB METRO connected with JBS. JBS with its exclusive and strategic partnerships with key players in the IT landscape successfully found a solution for the problem at hand.
Initiation of project
An optimal end-to-end cybersecurity solution, that matches the standards of the digitized world, is an absolute necessity in today’s business landscape. During the pandemic, the need for such a system escalated even further and an urgent revamping was required to ensure an efficient and secure device management and a data prevention leak solution.
HABIB METRO was looking for a one-step solution from one expert and unified platform. JBS, having a longstanding and prosperous client relation with HABIB METRO, was approached to work on this project. An answer to all the emerging problems seemed, a shift to Microsoft 365. With the assistance of JBS and the Microsoft Fast Track team, different proof of concepts were experimented across focal areas. The proof of concepts showcased positive results and the possibility of improved collaboration and increasing employee productivity. All the processes were done seamlessly without disturbing the daily functioning of the business. The project reaped excellent results which has now further motivated the HABIB METRO team to envision more digital opportunities in future.

Results of the project
After the installment of Microsoft 365, HABIBMETRO was not just able to meet the regulator requirements regarding cybersecurity but also experienced improved collaboration amongst the employees. The facility of timely audit and the option of tracking employee actions and corporate access has made employees more conscious, responsible and accountable. Therefore, yielding better results and benefits for the organization.
This venture not only further cemented our foothold in the market but also opened up a new paradigm in data center services which no other system integrator offers.
