Zulfiqar’s Story

Humans of JBS/

We need to realize that everything happens for a reason and regardless of what we might think, it happens for the best. Sometimes it takes longer for us to realize that the outcome was better for us, which is why patience is the key to success.

Back in 2012, I enrolled myself in a training for SAP even though I worked in HR. Those trainings cost me a lot and didn’t pay off until 2018. Today, I’m grateful for the trainings that I took because they have allowed me to work for a structured SAP Partner company and I consider this as one of my biggest achievements. My transition from HR to SAP was not an easy decision, however, I’ve always had a knack for technology which made it easy for me to understand and adopt it.

I am a strong believer in living my life to its fullest. Out of all the aspirations I have, my biggest one is to take part in Tour De France. Tour De France is an annual cycling race held primarily in France and sometimes in nearby countries. My goal is to achieve the financial and physical means to be able to participate in that. I am quite hopeful that my dream will come true one day.

Not only do I enjoy cycling, but I’m also part of a group called ‘Born to Run’ where we all get together and run for different charities and events. In fact, I believe if I had to pick an alternate career path, I would’ve loved to be a professional sportsperson or a writer. Everything that I do comes down to being able to live a life of peace where I have no regrets. When I’m not working towards my goals, I’m found watching movies with my family and taking care of my cats. In my family, we’re not just cat lovers, we are Thoreauvian, we love all forms of nature.
