We’re often tempted to give up if our efforts don’t really get us what we want. But persistence is key. The phrase, “never give up” might be cliché but it holds true. It’s a great achievement for me that I was able to pursue by goal and actually achieve it. I believe it’s really important for an individual to achieve his goals no matter how long they take.

I really wanted pursue a BBA degree from Karachi University, however I didn’t have the grades for it and instead decided to pursue an economics degree from the same university. Every time I used to pass by the KUBS building, it was a constant reminder that this is where I wanted to be. After completing my 2 year BS degree, I applied and this time got accepted into the 3rd year of the BBA program. I was finally studying what I wanted to study and there was no better feeling.

I started working here right out of university and while many fresh graduates struggle with work life balance, I’m great at managing both. I always spend my most productive time at the office. If a task can be done in 5 hours, there’s no reason to take 8. I manage to take out time for my friends and family, I love social gatherings and try to go to as many as I can. Not many people know this but I have a twin brother and back when we were in college together we were a force to be reckoned with.

I also love to travel although with covid I haven’t gotten to do much of it. My dream destination is Kumrat, because I’m a fan of greenery and nature. Last year when universities were closed we were having online exams so me and my friends decided to go to Kashmir and I had this final presentation that I was very worried about because we weren’t getting any signals there. However, luck was on our side because the lights went out at our teacher’s place.

Personal growth is very important to me and working at ENA has truly played a big part in it. I believe it’s important to share your problems with those around you instead of keeping them to yourself because that’s how you’ll find a solution.
