With that in focus, our corporate philosophy of doing things “A bit earlier” has helped transform our organizational culture in a massive way and has driven internal improvement. The philosophy, though simple, makes a strong impact in the way we serve our customers. We want to serve our customers earlier, smarter, faster and better.
Innovation has remained the cornerstone of our company. In 2016, we set up an innovation unit at JBS with three key focus areas. First, to provide our customers with value addition in every existing offering and become their true business partners. Second, to focus on solving business problems and start developing our own products and IP's as an effort to propel the world towards digitization. Third, to capitalize on the booming start-up culture of the country by infusing promising offerings into our portfolio through an engaged and strong acquisition strategy. We have identified Big Data and IoT (Internet of things) as two key areas for our future diversification ventures. To that end we have already acquired Blutech Consulting recently and have made great headway into Big Data businesses; while JBS' efforts to branch out in IoT are well underway.
